Wolverine is a minifigure for the Marvel theme.

Background

Wolverine was born as James Howlett. He is a battle-hardened amnesic member of the X-Men, who ran from his home in Canada in 1845 with his "brother" Sabretooth and changed his name to Logan. About a century later, he lost his memory after a mysterious experiment that transformed his skeleton to solid adamantuim, improving his healing factor, and also making his original retractable bone claws metal, thus making him immortal.

After this the experiment the only items in his possession were two dog tags stamped "LOGAN" and "WOLVERINE". He took on the name Logan and uses Wolverine as an alias. He is a mutant, part of a large group of random humans that have enhanced "super powers" and abilities. He has retractable metal claws and enhanced regeneration. He is member of Charles Xavier's X-Men and enemy of fellow mutant Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants.
